Show results...

We've had great fun this season getting our fillies out and about to some local shows, with pleasing results -
made all the more satisfying and rewarding, as all their halter training and preparation
has been completed by us at home, and with Rod on the end of the lead in the ring.

Barley has since begun her saddle education with Jodie Young and has taken to ridden work like a duck to water.

She's now home having a well earned spell, before commencing training in earnest - we hope she takes as well  to her performance career as her brother Lemon has.
Congratulations...

To Mike and Greg Smith and Charleston, on their continued success on the Queensland Show circuit, garnering wins at the Queensland All Welsh and  Toowoomba and Brisbane Royals.

Well done "Team Smithfields" and good boy Charles!

Welcome home Daisy...

We're delighted to announce the purchase of the Welsh B/Arabian Pony mare, Marconi Figurine.

Daisy is a pony we have coveted since the day she was born - she's a daughter of our own Weston Park Music,
[and the reason we originally sought out and purchased Music for our breeding programme]
and  sired by Marconi Stud's highly popular stallion Weston Park Mercury.

Daisy was shown with great success during the 2008 foal show season and is a full sibling to the  Royal and Barastoc Champion buckskin mare, Marconi Chanel. A return to the show ring may be considered
in the future for her, however our more immediate plans are to breed her to Ascot in Concert for a 2012 foal.

Our gratitude to Kay Dawson of Ballanbrae, for enabling our dream of one day owning Daisy to become reality.
Departures...

We'd like to extend our congratulations to the new owners of the following ponies:

two purebred Arabians due any day now and our last Riding Pony for the season due on Christmas day.

SEAHAC Stallion Parade...

We were most honoured to be invited to attend the SEAHAC Stallion Parade in September,  to parade both Balthazar and Bravado as progeny of their respective sires, Simeon Champagne and Keira Park Cascade.

The response on the day was fabulous, with both sires and their lookalike sons putting on  crowd pleasing performances - we're delighted with how well both these stallions have stamped their sons in their image and only too proud to display our baby boys in support of their beautiful sires.
